Community Family Life Services Case Manager, Washington, DC A 39 year old non-profit organization in DC is currently seeking a Case Manager for its Supportive Services Department. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: provide case management and referral services for clients living in transitional housing, homeless, chronically unemployed and ex offender populations. Responsibilities include developing service plans, documenting services and maintaining statistics for programs; linking clients with government and community services; designing and implementing support groups and community meetings; conducting quarterly home visit reports. Community Family Life Services Development Manager, Washington, DC
39 year old non-profit organization in DC is currently seeking a candidate for a senior level position responsible for coordinating volunteer services, special events, direct mail appeals, agency communication materials, and donor relations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Implementing donor cultivation activities to maximize financial, in-kind, and goods and services contributions; managing donor correspondences, including preparing, printing, and mailing of donor acknowledgements. Accepting and processing donations of goods and services from donors; processing credit card donations, stock, matching and tribute gifts; assisting the Executive Director and Board of Directors in successful personal solicitation of donors by conducting donor research; providing oversight to all fundraising events including walk-a-thon, annual gala, and direct mail appeals to maximize profitability; working with staff and volunteers to organize and support fundraising events; developing communications materials to profile the agency to stakeholders including maintaining website, developing promotional materials (including brochures, annual report, and electronic newsletter); soliciting volunteers from the public and private sectors; developing strategic relationships with organization to leverage volunteer capacity; advertise to the media to recruit volunteers; acting as liaison with local schools, businesses, and community groups to recruit volunteers; organizing monthly Saturday morning homeless breakfast with Volunteers; conducting volunteer orientation and training; developing volunteer training materials; maintaining list of need for volunteers within the organization; scheduling volunteers to work on specific projects; recruiting and training volunteer interns; maintaining volunteer and donor tracking data bases; performing data entry and tracking of donor tracking data base; maintaining donor and volunteer statistics; insures all certifications for fundraising in Maryland, Virginia, and the District are up to date; insures Guidestar rating is up to date. Assist in the development of proposals as required.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field as well as experience in planning and implanting fund raising programs and managing volunteers. In addition, candidates must have working knowledge of Raisers Edge, Gift Works, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software applications.
