Supportive Services Volunteers
Volunteer for one of these exciting positions with our Emergency Services Program:
- Adopt-a-Senior
- Delivery and Assembly of Food Bags
- Organize a drive for our Clothing Room
Adopt-a-Senior
Low-income, home-bound seniors have little opportunity to interact with people outside of their own living areas. Why not volunteer to spend an afternoon with a senior? These volunteer sessions may be scheduled at the convenience of the volunteer and the senior. The relationship that is sure to develop will make a big difference in both your life and the life of the senior you adopt.
Food Bag Delivery
You can get involved by delivering food and a little cheer to homebound seniors in the community. This is a great activity for groups and individuals. Day time hours, flexible scheduling, typically during the third week of the month.

Clothing Room Volunteer
Homeless and low-income families and individuals often seek our assistance in finding clothes to wear for job interviews or to fight off the cold. We rely on volunteers to help us staff our clothing room and to help us sort clothing donations.
At this point, we have an excellent group of volunteers staffing the room. From time to time we do need groups to help us sort the donations. Contact us if you have a group who would like to be involved. Also, if you would like to find out more about what kinds of clothes we need for our clothing room, click here.
