eBay Users
If you are an eBay seller, you can now choose to designate a portion of your profits to CFLS.
MissionFish, a subsidiary of the Points of Light Foundation, will now allow an eBay seller to register to donate part or all of your profits directly to a non-profit organization registered with MissionFish.
Here's what you do:
Read about how the process works here.
Click on the Sell Your Item link at the bottom of the page.
Search for Community Family Life Services and follow the steps as prompted, indicating what percentage you would like to donate to CFLS, what the details and price of the item you are selling are, and how you would like to be paid. You may have to register with MissionFish as an eBay seller if you have not already done so.
CFLS will receive the percentage of your sale that you designate to us, minus a $3 transaction charge minus approximately 10% of miscellaneous service fees. So if your item sells for $100 and you designate that $100 to CFLS, we will receive approximately $87 which we can then put to good use in promoting our programs for low-income and homeless individuals.
If you do register in the MissionFish / eBay Seller's Program, we would like to know so that we can thank you. Please send us an email at development@cflsdc.org to let us know.
