Eligibility
Employment and Job Training

In order to participate in our Culinary Arts Training Program, you must first attend a class held at our community center every Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm.
In order to have access to our Employment Resource Center, you must first attend a class held at our community center every Tuesday from 9 am until 4 pm.
You should bring an ID, a resume, and a police clearance, if you have one, with you when meeting with our employment counselors.
In addition:
- All of our Employment and Job Training Clients are expected to be drug-free for at least 6 months and may be asked to give a urine sample prior to accessing our services.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- For enrollment in the job training programs, must have a high school diploma or GED or be willing to enroll in a GED program.
- Must live in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virigina.
