I wanted to thank whoever sponsored me for my gifts this Christmas. I am older so I did not expect anything because I did not think anyone would want to give to me. I am grateful to receive the gifts I got. I don't have very much family so these are the only gifts I got. My mentor is going to take me shopping for a coat with one of the gift cards I got. I am very grateful for all the kindness everyone has shown me. Thanks again.

Holiday Gift Drives

 

Each year CFLS coordinates an Adopt-a-Family program where families in our transitional housing units, families with children, or youth in foster care, or individual adults living in shelters are paired up with individuals and/or organizations throughout the community. Adoptee families provide basic wish lists and adoptive groups collaborate to provide gifts for each family member.

Each year CFLS also coordinates a Give-a-Gift toy drive, collecting unwrapped toys from various groups and individuals throughout the community. All donated toys are used for our free Holiday Store which enables parents with low-incomes to choose gifts for their children.

The CFLS Holiday Gift Drives make the holiday season brighter for all those involved!!
