Partnerships
In addition to providing mental health and substance counseling to clients in programs run by Community Family Life Services, CFLS' Health and Wellness counselors also work in partnerships with other agencies in DC.
Our counselors joined with Temple Micah to provide case management and recovery services to residents of Micah House in Northwest Washington.
Micah House is a two-year, transitional group home for four homeless women who are recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The Health and Wellness counselors provide case management and mental health and substance abuse counseling on an individual or group level. The counselors have established residency criteria, created house rules and assist the residents in managing the house.
We are proud of our partnership with Temple Micah and look forward to working with them and Micah House residents for many years to come.
