Employment Resource Center

Our Employment Resource Center is accessible to all DC residents and may be utilized to prepare and polish resumes, conduct on-line job searches, and receive phone messages and e-mail.  Our Employment Resource Center has computers available for clients, as well as telephones and fax machines for clients to use as they conduct their job searches.  We also offer a variety of computer programs that will help clients hone their typing and computer skills.

CFLS also operates a clothing room for clothing assistance to people entering the job market without the funds to buy necessary professional clothing.  For those entering the workforce needing childcare assistance during their working hours, we provide referrals through the District of Columbia Office of Early Childhood Development.  Transportation to CFLS assisted jobs and interviews is provided on an as-needed basis for our clients.
