Start a Drive for Items our Clients Need

At CFLS, we are always in need of a variety of items, from food for our seniors, to school supplies for our children, to clothes, books, coats and gloves, underwear, and personal hygiene items.  You can organize a drive to help answer these needs. 

We are always in particular need of donations of underwear, bras, socks, and feminine hygiene products.  When you think of the clothes you donate to organizations like CFLS, you probably think of pants, sweaters, and shirts.  However, because underwear, bras, and socks are not only very personal, but also worn for as long as possible, these are not often donated to the community.  However, there is a great need for such items.  Next time you are at the store, consider picking up an extra packet of underwear, socks, or bras.  Better yet, please organize a drive to collect these personal items at your workplace, school, church, or gym.

Collect for Give-a-Gift

Your efforts can make a real difference in the life a child in need during the holiday season. In order for us to reach our goals we need your help. We need to collect 2,500 toys for boys and girls, ages pre-school to 13, between November 1st and Monday, December 12th. Toys should be new and in their original packaging, but not wrapped. Please consider organizing contributions to Give-a-Gift at your church or office. The toys and presents that you donate will be beautifully displayed for parents to pick out and bring home to their children. If you are unable to deliver the toys to us, we can arrange to pick them up.
