Walkathon Event Details

Walk with CFLS on November 22, 2008 during the next Fannie Mae Foundation Help the Homeless Walkathon!

WHAT: A 5 kilometer walk around the National Mall benefiting organizations like Community Family Life Services.

WHEN: Saturday, November 22, 2008.

Registration begins at 7 am, warm-up exercises begin at 8:15 and the walk begins at 9 am.

WHERE: The main walk takes place on the National Mall but STAY TUNED to CFLS' website for announcements on where the CFLS team will meet and how we'll celebrate after the walk.

TRANSPORTATION: Metro's the best way into town.  Surrounding metro stations include Archives / Navy Memorial; L'Enfant Plaza; and Smithsonian.  STAY TUNED for information about which stop is closest to the CFLS Team meeting location.

WHY: in 2007, this event raised over $67,000 to support CFLS' programs, but we could not have done it without your help!
