DIAPER PROGRAM

In early 2016, Community Family Life Services (CFLS) partnered with DC Diaper Bank.  Through this unique collaboration, CFLS is able to provide an abundance of much needed and reliable supply of diapers to families, parents and caregivers and individuals for babies, toddlers and their children in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

We provide diapers to single parents, low income families and to citizens who are simply unable to afford to purchase or provide essential diapers for their children. While diapers are necessary and expensive, this service is not part of or considered eligible under those receiving federally-subsidized food stamps.  The cost of diapers puts an enormous financial strain on low income or struggling families and in many cases, families are forced to choose between diapers and basic necessities. and/or food for their children.  For parents with no income, it is nearly impossible to provide their children with the health, safety and sufficient supply of clean diapers without the help of similar programs.

For more information about our Diaper Program contact Mahendra Supeno at 202-347-0511 Ext 3050 or Msupeno@cflsdc.org.
